ASTON/Crosswind Small Cap Growth Launches I-Class Shares
CHICAGO, June 2, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Aston Asset Management, LP (Aston) is pleased to announce the launch of I-Class shares for the ASTON/Crosswind Small Cap Growth Fund (Ticker: ACWIX), effective on June 1, 2011.
The ASTON/Crosswind Small Cap Growth Fund N-Class was launched on November 3, 2010. The Fund seeks to provide long-term capital appreciation by investing in small-capitalization stocks with unrecognized growth potential using a bottom up fundamental selection process. The target capacity for the strategy, which includes the Fund and institutional separate accounts, is expected to be approximately $1.2 billion.

Andrew Morey, CFA is a Partner with Crosswind Investments, LLC (Crosswind) and the portfolio manager for the Crosswind Small and Small/Mid Cap investment strategies. Andrew has 19 years of investment management experience and prior to joining Crosswind, Andrew was the founder and portfolio manager of Tartan Partners, LLC. Prior to Tartan Partners, Andrew worked at State Street Research & Management from 1995 to 2005. He spent five years as an analyst focusing on a variety of sectors, and then served as lead portfolio manager for the Concentrated Small Cap Growth strategy as well as co-portfolio manager on the Small Cap Growth strategy from 2000 to 2005 responsible for managing $1.8 billion in assets. Andrew was also a research analyst for Gabelli & Co. from 1994 to 1995 and for Kidder Peabody from 1991 to 1993. Andrew holds a B.A. from Vanderbilt University and an M.B.A. from Columbia Business School.
