ASRC Federal Mission Solutions Rated at CMMI Level 5

BELTSVILLE, Md., June 22, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- ASRC Federal Mission Solutions (AFMS) today announced that it has again been appraised at Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI®) Level 5.  This continues the company's 15 year history of operating at CMMI Level 5.

The CMMI model measures business process maturity levels through comprehensive evaluations of engineering, development and management processes. This is an important accomplishment as CMMI maturity level ratings are often a prerequisite for submitting contract bids, and are a major discriminator even when they are not required.

This achievement is magnified by the fact that the appraiser, Integrated System Diagnostics, found no weaknesses in AFMS operations and had no significant recommendations for change.  In announcing the rating, AFMS Vice President Joe Buss emphasized the company's long history of Level 5 ratings. "Our successful re-appraisal at Level 5 continues our legacy of delivering exceptional services and solutions to our customers," he said. "It is a validation of our quality engineering team."
