ASMedia is delivering its ASM1051 USB 3.0 device to MCCI for supporting MCCI's USB 3.0 software development efforts, which can be made available to customers as a fully-tested, integrated solution.

MCCI is extending its USB host and device software products to the next-generation SuperSpeed USB 3.0 standard, which delivers ten times the performance of the current standard.
