Architects & Engineers for 9/11 Truth Marks September 11th Anniversary with Booklet and Film Releases, Takes Aim at New York Times with Billboard
NEW YORK, Sept. 10, 2015 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Architects & Engineers for 9/11 Truth (AE911Truth) is marking the September 11th anniversary with the release of a new 50-page booklet titled "Beyond Misinformation" and with the premiere of a new film, "Firefighters, Architects & Engineers." The organization has also posted an audacious billboard across the street from the New York Times Building.
The booklet, "Beyond Misinformation: What Science Says About the Destruction of World Trade Center Buildings 1, 2, and 7," is designed to be a "comprehensive overview of the evidence regarding the World Trade Center destruction." Vetted by a committee of architects, engineers, and researchers, the booklet condenses 14 years of research into one easy-to-read, slickly designed primer.
In July, AE911Truth raised $50,000 to mail "Beyond Misinformation" to 20,000 architects and engineers across the U.S., and to every state governor and member of Congress. Since then, it has sold an additional 15,000 print copies. Earlier this week, the e-version was released. Both print and electronic versions are available at BeyondMisinformation.org.
On the heels of releasing "Beyond Misinformation," AE911Truth will premiere its new film "Firefighters, Architects & Engineers: Expose the Myths of 9/11," on the evening of September 11. The 90-minute piece features a joint presentation by AE911Truth founder Richard Gage, AIA, and Firefighters for 9/11 Truth founder Erik Lawyer. Together they critique the World Trade Center investigation conducted by the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) and argue that NIST failed to follow national protocols for fire and explosion investigations.
The premiere will be held at 7:00 PM on Friday, September 11, 2015, in the West Park Presbyterian Church, 165 West 86th St., New York.
Just outside the New York Times Building, AE911Truth's billboard shows the World Trade Center collapsing in a cloud of debris and takes aim at The New York Times over a statement made by its Chief Washington Correspondent, David Sanger. Appearing on the C-SPAN program "Washington Journal" in 2013, Sanger told one of the show's callers, "We've not found any evidence so far to suggest that the building collapses were caused by anything other than the two airplanes."
After quoting Sanger, the 29-foot-tall placard counters with the cheeky response, "Clearly, you haven't been looking." Below that, it lists several defining features of the Twin Towers' collapses, such as their "near free-fall descent" and "explosive hurling of steel," that are clear evidence of controlled demolition, according to AE911Truth, whose membership numbers more than 2,300 architects and engineers.
The billboard is scheduled to remain standing through the first week of October. Several hundred of the organization's supporters contributed $9,000 over Labor Day weekend to pay for it. Billboard owner Red Rock Outdoor claims it will be seen by 100,000 people each day, which translates to about three million views over the four weeks the billboard will be up.
