ARCADIS Adds Michael P. Rennard to New York Infrastructure Office

DENVER, July 6 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- ARCADIS (EURONEXT: ARCAD), the international design, consulting, engineering and management services company, has hired Michael P. Rennard, P.E., as Senior Vice President for the Infrastructure North Region Practice Operations Manager for Transportation. Rennard will be serving within ARCADIS' U.S. Infrastructure Division out of New York City.

Rennard brings more than 35 years of experience in the transportation and operations industry to ARCADIS and extensive knowledge from his service with a nationally recognized engineering firm and from serving in key management roles in a number of positions with the City of New York.  His expertise in the public and private sectors – across several areas of transportation and infrastructure – includes surface transportation, highways and roadways, rail and transit, bridges and water. In his new role with ARCADIS, Rennard will oversee and manage major projects in the North Region as well as develop and support the expansion of ARCADIS' national transportation practice.

As a principal and operations manager at Jacobs Civil Consultants Inc., Rennard was responsible for consolidating the firm's New York offices as well as overseeing major rail, expressway, bus transit, bridges and tunnel projects within New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania.

Rennard is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) and the New York State Society of Professional Engineers. He has also served as both vice president and president of the Municipal Engineers and in 2002 was named the Municipal Engineer of the Year. Rennard received a bachelor of science degree in civil engineering from Manhattan College and additional certifications in engineering management through the American Management Association.
