April 2012 Commencement Date Announced for the First Touro University Worldwide Master's Degree Graduates

WESTLAKE VILLAGE, Calif., Nov. 30, 2011 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Dr. Bernard Luskin, CEO and Senior Provost, today announced April 29, 2012 as the commencement date and extended congratulations to the 24 first Master's Degree Program graduates in Media and Communications Psychology. Leading the graduates, the first four to complete their programs are: Lorraine Palmer, Robert Lasiewicz, Marion Brown, and Alisa Weinstein.

These graduates began their programs in 2009 and will participate in the first TUW commencement to be held at the Skirball Cultural Center in Los Angles," Dr. Toni Thomas Luskin, Professor and Director of the Media and Communications Psychology program at Touro University Worldwide proudly stated.

Touro University Worldwide launched the Media and Communications Psychology program in the fall of 2009 with 50 master's degree students. Since 2009, TUW has launched four additional accredited master's degree programs. The five TUW MA degree programs now include:

  • Marriage and Family Therapy
  • Organizational and Leadership Psychology
  • Physician's Assistant Program
  • MBA, and
  • Media and Communications Psychology
