WASHINGTON, Feb. 18 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Amnesty International USA members and other activists will be conducting panels, vigils, film screenings and letter writing campaigns in their communities from now until mid-March to urge Members of Congress and President Barack Obama to close Guantanamo and establish an independent commission to investigate alleged detainee abuses in U.S.-controlled detention centers.
