America's Road Team Captain Greg Nauretz, an elite professional truck driver with over a million accident-free miles, shared his expertise on highway safety with justices during the May 20 course, "Traffic Issues in the 21st Century." He will head back to the National Judicial College June 22 to perform another safety demonstration.
Nauretz led justices through his tractor and around his truck to show them first-hand what regulations and legislation impact a professional truck driver on the road. For many in attendance, this was their first experience with an actual tractor-trailer.
"Speaking at the National Judicial College was a great experience," said America's Road Team Captain Greg Nauretz. "It isn't often that you are able to speak with those shaping the laws that govern the trucking industry. And by showing them all aspects of my truck and how regulations affect my daily deliveries – I believe we all learned a great deal."
America's Road Team Captain Greg Nauretz, a driver for YRC, has been a professional truck driver 33 years and has accumulated over one million accident-free miles as a city driver.
