The American Sentinel Career Center is a powerful employment resource for its students and alumni and provides a single access point to search for specific job postings related to their occupation, credentials, and field of study.
Job opportunities are custom filtered based on preselected criteria chosen by American Sentinel. The jobs will be specific and relevant for students to help them advance their careers. Categories include Nursing (RN), administration/operations, and Healthcare IT.
"The university's mission is to enable students to improve their professional and civic lives," says Mary Adams, president and chief academic officer at American Sentinel University. "We provide high-quality education that helps students gain the knowledge, skills, and credentials they need to advance their careers. The new American Sentinel Career Center will make identifying those career advancement opportunities accessible and convenient."
Students and alumni can easily access the American Sentinel Career Center from the Moodle classroom and through American Sentinel's student center, where they can search for relevant employment opportunities based on location, job titles, and employer without the need to filter through irrelevant job postings.
"Quality patient care hinges on having an educated nursing workforce, and we are pleased to provide our students, many of which have attained advanced, specialized nursing degrees, with a career center that conveniently connects them with relevant positions in their field. Healthcare organizations are constantly looking for experienced, well-educated employees – this is a way to help our students connect with employers searching for employees with their skill sets," says Judy Burckhardt, Ph.D., MAEd, MSN, RN, professor and dean, nursing programs at American Sentinel University.
Health eCareers provides American Sentinel with an extensive quality assurance and screening process for its job postings, which are verified every 30 days. Students and alumni benefit from having increased access and convenience to identify career advancement opportunities and receive quality leads to real job postings with leading healthcare organizations across the country.
Students and alumni will also have access to Health eCareer's wealth of career advice, employment information, healthcare employment statistics, salary information, and job search tips to support their job hunt.
"Health eCareers is thrilled to be working with American Sentinel University," says Justin MacLean, Vice President of Partner Strategies for Health eCareers. "Our employer customers will greatly appreciate the connections that this partnership can give them to the highly qualified, well-educated students and alumni of the university. At the same time, Health eCareers will provide a great selection of opportunities to American Sentinel's students and alumni. We're very excited to be working together."
American Sentinel's Career Center is available now to current students and alumni through the Moodle online classroom and the student center.
