"As we celebrate the 10th anniversary of American Latino's remarkable run on nationally syndicated television, it's hard to understate what this accomplishment represents," said David Morales, LATV's Vice President of Sales & Distribution. "Very few programs in the history of television have achieved this milestone, so we are both honored and encouraged to continue our mission of portraying the lives of extraordinary Hispanics in America in an entertaining way."
American Latino TV's record 10th season will premiere in 101 markets, representing over 83% of Hispanic homes and 72 million total TV homes. LatiNation, heading into its 8th season, will be seen in 86 markets, reaching over 80% of Hispanic homes and 64 million total homes. Both shows target the rapidly growing English-speaking, U.S.-born Hispanic market.
"A special 10th Anniversary salute goes out to all the folks who have worked to make both shows a success over this last decade, particularly to this year's production team responsible for American Latino and LatiNation each receiving 26th Annual Imagen Foundation nominations for Best Program in their respective categories," Morales said.
Not willing to rest on their laurels, American Latino TV and LatiNation will feature all-new sets for their new seasons. American Latino will continue to be headlined by its popular young host, actress Valery Ortiz, who enters her third season. On LatiNation, Los Angeles-based pop-star T. Lopez will co-host with New York-based fan favorite, Jose Mangin, a fixture on the show since it launched eight years ago.
