American Diabetes Association Opens Call for Applications for Officer and Board Member Positions

ALEXANDRIA, Va., May 8, 2015 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The American Diabetes Association, the nation's leading voluntary health organization in the fight to Stop Diabetes®, has opened the call for applications for our Officer and Board of Director positions.

Ensuring a strong, diverse volunteer leadership is crucial to the success of our organization. These individuals will play an integral role in the advancement of the mission of the Association.

We are currently accepting applications for the following:

Chair of the Board-Elect
President-Elect, Health Care & Education
President-Elect, Medicine & Science
Secretary/Treasurer-Elect
Member, National Board of Directors

Applications will be accepted May 8 – June 12, 2015, 8 p.m. EST. Criteria for each of the positions, as well as the application information, can be found on www.diabetes.org/application.
