FORT WORTH, Texas, May 30, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- American Airlines today announces daily nonstop service between Miami International Airport (MIA) and Malpensa Airport (MXP) in Milan – further strengthening American's position as a premier provider of international travel to Europe. Through American's extensive network out of Miami, customers traveling from Milan will now have access to more than 100 destinations throughout the United States, Caribbean and Latin America. Customers can begin booking travel on the new route June 2, for travel beginning Nov. 21.

- Departs MIA at 5:55 p.m. ET
- Arrives at MXP at 9:35 a.m. CET the following day
AA 207
- Departs MXP at 11:25 a.m. CET
- Arrives at MIA at 4:40 p.m. ET
The new service between Miami and Milan will be operated as part of American's joint business agreement with British Airways and Iberia. Through the airlines' enhanced relationship, American's customers have access to more than 125 destinations throughout Europe. In addition to the new service from Miami, American also currently serves MXP from John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) in New York. The new route will be operated with a Boeing 767-300 with 218 seats.
