AM General Announces New Leadership Appointments
Howard Glaser to Serve as President of AM General's Rapidly Growing Commercial Business, Pat Kemp As Executive Vice President with Mobility Ventures
SOUTH BEND, Ind., Jan. 29, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- AM General is proud to announce the hiring of two new senior executives to lead the Company's rapidly growing Commercial Business. Howard Glaser joins AM General on Jan. 29, as President of AM General's Commercial Business segment and will report directly to AM General, President and CEO, Charlie Hall. In this position Glaser will oversee the growth and execution of the Commercial Business, while ensuring customer satisfaction. Pat Kemp, who joined the company earlier this month as executive vice president of Mobility Ventures, a wholly owned subsidiary of AM General, will report to Glaser and manage engineering, sales, distribution and dealer support for the company's flagship vehicle, the MV-1.

Glaser, has extensive experience in business development, marketing, management and government affairs. Prior to joining AM General, Glaser held several prominent senior positions in the federal and New York State government. Most recently, Glaser was the Executive Vice President of OTG Management, a privately held airport development and technology company with more than 4,000 employees.
Kemp has more than 30-years of experience in the automotive industry having spent most of his career at General Motors where he held various key roles such as brand manager for the Cadillac DeVille. He also served as Executive Vice President, Marketing, Communications and Development for Autism Speaks, Inc., New York, and led the effort to create housing and vocational opportunities for adults with autism with the Autism Alliance of Michigan, Inc.
AM General's commercial business is a full service manufacturing and support operation that utilizes state-of-the-art robotic welding, painting and assembly techniques coupled with a lean manufacturing culture and highly skilled workforce to meet the requirements of its customers. On Tuesday, AM General was selected by Mercedes-Benz to manufacture the Mercedes-Benz R-Class luxury vehicle at AM General's world-class 675,000 square-foot Commercial Assembly Plant.
