SOUTH BEND, Ind., Oct. 26, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- AM General today announced that General (Ret.) Jack Keane has joined the company as its Executive Chairman. General Keane is widely recognized as one of America's most insightful and trusted thought leaders on national security issues.
In his new role, General Keane will work closely with AM General's President and CEO, Andy Hove, and AM General's parent corporation, MacAndrews & Forbes Incorporated, to provide strategic oversight and counsel on the company's strategic growth initiatives.

General Keane, a four star general, completed more than 37 years of service, culminating in his appointment as Vice Chief of Staff of the US Army, a position he held from 1999-2003. In addition, General Keane has worked with and served on the boards of several companies in the private sector including defense and national security related organizations.
General Keane graduated from Fordham University with a Bachelor of Science degree and received a Master of Arts from Western Kentucky University. He is a graduate of the Army War College and the Command and General Staff College.
