LOVELAND, Colo., Aug. 11 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Allegiant Travel Company (Nasdaq: ALGT) and its subsidiary low-cost airline, Allegiant Air, LLC, today announced new, nonstop jet service between Phoenix-Mesa, Ariz., and Fort Collins-Loveland, Colo., will begin October 8. The low-cost carrier, known for its exceptional travel deals, will introduce the new service to Fort Collins-Loveland residents with fares as low as $29.99* one-way.

The new flights will operate two times weekly between Fort Collins-Loveland Municipal Airport (FNL) and Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport (IWA) with service Monday and Friday. Flights will depart Fort Collins-Loveland at 11:10 a.m. arriving in Phoenix-Mesa at 12:05 p.m. Flights leaving Phoenix-Mesa will depart at 7:40 a.m. arriving in Fort Collins-Loveland at 10:30 a.m. (all flight times are local).
The airline commented market research and input from local community leaders indicate the Fort Collins-Loveland community will welcome the new nonstop flights and low fares to Phoenix-Mesa. Allegiant will utilize 150-seat, MD-80 series, jet-aircraft on the route. Allegiant Air began nonstop service to Las Vegas July 31, 2003.
