In 2013, Alcosta Capital Management's Growth Composite increased 43.82% on a gross basis. This increase compares favorably against 32.39% for the S&P 500 Index, including dividends.
Over the 11-year period since the firm was founded, Alcosta Capital Management's Growth Composite grew 229.82%, (or 11.46% annualized) both on a gross basis. This performance compares favorably against 162.90% (or 9.18% annualized) for the S&P 500 Index, during the same 11-year period.
Erick E. Ormsby, President and Chief Investment Officer of Alcosta Capital Management, noted that "our performance is a reflection of the firm's stated investment philosophy, which is based on building long-term wealth for our clients, properly managing risk levels, and not chasing hot stocks or investment fads." The firm tailors client portfolios that consist of fundamental, transparent asset classes – primarily U.S.-listed growth stocks – that have demonstrated their value to investors over many decades.
The Growth Composite, created on January 1, 2003, contains fully discretionary growth equity accounts with an objective of maintaining an approximate allocation of greater than 90% in growth stocks over the long-term. Alcosta Capital Management's Growth Composite track record has been examined, and the firm has been verified by Ashland Partners & Company LLP, a respected independent third party accounting firm. The accountant's report is available upon request.

The performance information provided herein is historic and should not be taken as any indication of future performance. Among other things, growth of assets under management may adversely affect our investment performance. Also, future investments will be made under different economic conditions and may be made in different securities using different investment strategies. The performance statistics disclosed herein show the approximate percentage increase in our Growth Composite. The Growth Composite was created on January 1, 2003. Performance shown represents total returns that include income, realized and unrealized gains and losses. Performance is shown net of transaction costs but does not include investment management fees. If investment management fees were included the performance shown would be reduced. For comparison purposes, the composite is measured against the Standard and Poor's 500 Index. The comparison of the composite performance to a single market index is imperfect because the composite portfolios are not as diversified as the Standard and Poor's 500 Index or other indices. Due to the differences between the composite investment strategies and the methodology used to compute most indices, no indices are directly comparable to the results of the composite.
