Alabama REC Selects SuccessEHS as Preferred Vendor

BIRMINGHAM, Ala., March 8, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- SuccessEHS, a nationally recognized, streamlined practice management and electronic health record (EHR / EMR) software vendor, was selected by the Alabama Regional Extension Center (REC) as a preferred EHR provider in accordance with government health care initiatives.

Regional Extension Centers like the Alabama REC are endowed by the Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology (ONC); grants received help health care providers adopt an EHR and facilitate a practice's alignment with Meaningful Use criteria. The REC program aims to provide outreach and assistance to 100,000 physicians, and has already helped guide an estimated 35,000 physicians through the process of selecting an EHR.
