TREVOSE, Pa., April 8 /PRNewswire/ -- AirClic, a global provider of mobile software products that improve supply chain, logistics and field service operations, today announced Rick Pontin as its new CEO. Pontin, a 25 year software and technology veteran, will leverage his experience to drive AirClic's growth strategy and product direction.

Previously, Pontin was executive chairman of Tangoe and CEO of its predecessor company TRAQ Wireless. Tangoe is a global provider of Communications Lifecycle Management (CLM) software and services to the Global 5000. During his tenure, Tangoe dramatically grew revenue and profitability and has consistently been recognized as the CLM industry's thought and growth leader.
In addition to Tangoe, Pontin served as president and COO of Broadwing Communications (now Level 3) during a period of significant expansion. Under Pontin's leadership, revenue grew by 60 percent to more than $1.2 billion in two years. He also served as president and COO of Cincinnati Bell. Earlier in his career, he held several executive positions at AT&T, MCI (now Verizon) and Sprint Nextel.
