Aerial Look and Luxify Announce Global Virtual Market in Luxury Real Estate
Interactive Marketing Platform Tailor-fitted to Chinese Investors
RALEIGH, N.C., May 24, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- This summer, the US luxury real estate market will get even hotter.
Much of that growth comes from Chinese buyers, the largest group of foreign buyers for US real estate, with $22 billion in purchases from March 2013 to March 2014.
A recently announced business partnership between Raleigh NC-based Aerial Look and Hong Kong-based Luxify will expose more Chinese buyers to high-end US properties.
Aerial Look, a startup valued at $5 million, uses 3D-scanning and drone technology to give wealthy buyers a lifelike virtual tour of high-end global properties and rentals.
Luxify, on the other hand, provides a luxury e-marketplace for Asian and European buyers. Their platform seamlessly connects buyers and sellers of luxury goods including properties and estates. Think of it as an Amazon or Alibaba for the ultra-rich with goods from houses to watches.
With offices in Hong Kong, Singapore and London, Luxify currently controls a sizable market share in Europe and Asia.
Aerial Look and Luxify already operate a joint venture in Hong Kong combining Luxify's marketplace with Aerial Look's 3D technology. Now the duo is expanding stateside.
The powerful partnership will commence with a tour of America's hottest property markets including Miami, Palm Beach, New York and the San Francisco Bay Area.
While on tour, Aerial Look and Luxify executives will demonstrate to top-tier real estate agents how listing 3D luxury property tours on a Chinese marketplace will add value.
Aerial Look's founder and CEO, Robert Koenekamp, explains the force behind China's massive capital investments into expensive US properties lately: "High-end US property is a safe place for the Chinese to park their investments. And putting $10 million into one New York penthouse offers easier capital retrieval than a portfolio of $100,000 homes."
But for Aerial Look and Luxify, connecting Chinese buyers to million-dollar US properties is just the beginning. Once the partnership takes off, Koenekamp sees Aerial Look providing virtual 3D property tours for all types of properties to investors from all over the globe.
