This recognition was bestowed upon Aegis at the 9th Indo -American Corporate Excellence (I-ACE) Awards held in Mumbai, India as a commemoration of the American Independence Day.

Aegis was also presented the award for the Best Indian Company in USA under the "Innovation" category for its significant investment in Customer Experience Management.

The chief guest at the event also involved Mr. Peter Haas, US Consul General, Mumbai, and Mr. Dilip-Walse Patil, Speaker of the Maharashtra State Legislative Assembly.

During the event Honorable Chief Minister of Maharashtra, India Mr. PrithviRaj Chavan took the opportunity to mention that US and India share warm relations with one another and have several things in common apart from being the world's largest democracies. Chief Minister Chavan said "If we work together I'm sure it will help both the economies to get out of the current situations, to move forward, continue growing at the usual rates. India has been growing at a very substantial rate of growth of 8-9 percent, we want to get back to that level very soon and I'm sure working together will allow us to do that".
