MONUMENT, Colo., Oct. 3, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Daniel Courtney former President of Genworth Financial Asset Management at Genworth Financial, has taken on a new role as Managing Director, Head of National Account Management for Advisors Asset Management (AAM)'s Capital Markets Group. Based in Colorado, Courtney will report to John Radtke, Managing Director, Executive Vice President, Head of Capital Markets.

Courtney's appointment marks AAM's continued strength in building out its Capital Markets Group. The firm is focused on expanding and creating a highly experienced, competent and trusted team with its other recent hires, Glenn Lotenberg, Managing Director of Business Development and Scott Greenwood, Executive Director of Structured Products.
Courtney joins AAM with more than a decade of experience in national sales and business development at Genworth Financial and Resource America, Inc. As president of Genworth Financial Asset Management, Courtney led the RIA group, where his team specialized in fixed income, risk-management and tax-advantaged strategies primarily through managed accounts. He has also most recently served as an independent consultant specializing in financial services distribution and wealth management technology.
