OCONOMOWOC, Wis., Sept. 17, 2014 /PRNewswire/ --Phillip J. Seibell, M.D., a board-certified psychiatrist, has joined the medical staff at Rogers Behavioral Health–Tampa Bay, which is slated to open late September. Dr. Seibell will provide support and psychiatric services for adults in Tampa's intensive outpatient (IOP) and partial hospitalization programs (PHP) that will focus on obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) and related anxiety disorders.

A graduate of Rutgers University-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in New Jersey, Dr. Seibell completed his residency in general psychiatry at The Mount Sinai Hospital in New York. After residency, he was the primary psychiatrist for OCD and related conditions at Center of Excellence at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine. He then developed an outpatient service at Weill-Cornell Medical College/New York-Presbyterian Hospital that focused on OCD and related conditions. He was also a key member of the research and treatment team in the Center for Eating Disorders at Cornell.
Dr. Seibell is a member of the International College of Obsessive-Compulsive Spectrum Disorders, Anxiety and Depression Association of America, and the International OCD Foundation (IOCDF). He has given numerous presentations at national conferences and is a graduate of the IOCDF's Behavioral Therapy Training Institute (BTTI). In addition to OCD, he also specializes in treating related conditions such as body dysmorphic disorder (BDD) and eating disorders.
