Adjutant General Invites Public to Ask Questions During Virtual Town Hall Meeting
HARRISBURG, Pa., March 25 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Maj. Gen. Jessica L. Wright, adjutant general of Pennsylvania, will host the Department of Military and Veterans Affairs' first "virtual town hall" session from 10 a.m.-11 a.m. on Tuesday, March 30.
Combining elements of a live blog and a moderated chat, the online session will allow computer users to submit a question about DMVA and the Pennsylvania National Guard. General Wright will respond to as many questions as possible during the one-hour session.
"Technology helps us to reach a broader audience, connect more easily with the public, and be more responsive to their questions. Whether participants reside in Pennsylvania or out of the country, they will be able to ask me questions about our various programs and services during this virtual town hall meeting," said Gen. Wright. "It's an exciting new opportunity for the Department of Military and Veterans Affairs, as well as the Pennsylvania National Guard."
Gen. Wright will conduct the session from Ft. Indiantown Gap.
To participate in the session, visit www.dmva.state.pa.us on March 30 and click on the "Virtual Town Hall" button to submit a question.
DMVA expects to hold similar sessions quarterly.
