ADEC Hosts Building Future Education MENA 2011

Abu Dhabi Education Council (ADEC) today announced that Building Future Education MENA, modernising education to create tomorrow's workforce will be held at Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre on 25 & 26 October 2011.
Building Future Education MENA covers educational spaces, management, reform, investment and operation of all educational institutions and programmes in the MENA region. The event is expected to bring together delegations from ministries of education and education councils from throughout the region. The Middle East region comprises over 92500 public educational institutions and 50 million students with education budget amounted to 55 billion dollars.
H.E. Dr Mugheer Khamis Al-Khaili, ADEC Director General said: "We are keen to work closely with various stakeholders to improve standards of education in the Middle East and North Africa. This can be achieved through reinforcing joint collaborations and holding exhibitions & conferences in terms of school environment, curriculum, school improvement, quality assurance, special education requirements and sustainable educational facilities as demonstrated by Building Future Education MENA exhibition and conference held for the third consecutive year."

Building Future Education (BFE) MENA
As well as an interactive exhibition floor, this year's Building Future Education MENA will include a full free-to-attend conference and presentation theatre including world renowned speakers from the field of education; public outreach, student, teacher zone and high-level roundtable forums.
The main conference will bring together those at the forefront of education from ministries, institutions, operators, architects and investment companies. The conference features in depth panel discussions, based around specific research studies from BFE MENA's Knowledge Partners Booz & Co, Parthenon and RAND Qatar Policy Institute (RQPI), assessing the education market in the GCC and areas of potential investment.
The Presentation and Discussion Zone will cover key topics including world class facilities and learning environments, curriculum and school improvement, quality assurance, special education needs and sustainable education facilities.
