Acuitec Welcomes New VP of Business Development

BIRMINGHAM, Ala., Dec. 1, 2010 /PRNewswire/ -- Dick Hull has joined Acuitec as Vice President of Business Development. Dick brings over 20 years of healthcare IT sales experience to the company, including 16 years within perioperative sales. With expertise reinforced by extensive experience in the field, Dick will promote company growth and lead a world-class team of sales professionals.

Dick began his healthcare career in 1990 with DeRoyal Industries. He began as a salesman for the DeRoyal Business System (DBS) software, which later became GE Centricity. Dick was quickly promoted first to Sales Director for DBS in 1991, and then to Business Manager in 1995. His responsibilities included sales, marketing, development, support, and implementation. Dick left DeRoyal in 1998 and joined Surgical Information Systems (SIS) as one of two Area Vice Presidents. In 2003, he was promoted to VP of Sales and built an outstanding sales team that broke sales records in 2004, 2005 and 2006. Most recently, Dick was VP of Sales for Premise and sold for TeleTracking.

Dick is confident about the quality and growing power of Acuitec's software and is enthusiastic about taking Acuitec to the next level of business development—and beyond.
